What is mediation?
Mediation is an opportunity to settle your case outside of Court with the assistance of a neutral third party. The mediation process allows parties to collaborate to control the outcome of their dispute rather than having a judge decide for them.
As a neutral, Lauren helps parties to resolve their dispute, enabling them to economically and efficiently put an end to contested litigation, or avoid it entirely.
Why mediate?
Most parties are ordered to attend mediation prior to being able to obtain a hearing. More importantly, mediation offers a unique opportunity to really think through your desired outcome, what will work for your family, and to create solutions consistent with those considerations.
Remember, no one knows or cares more about you and your family than you do. Judges do not have the time and resources to get to know every relevant detail when you appear for trial, leaving most parties dissatisfied with outcomes obtained from a contested hearing.

Lauren's Approach
As a child of divorced parents, Lauren personally understands that a family law dispute is one of the most difficult life events a person experiences.
Lauren exclusively practiced family law until April 2023, litigating divorce, contempt, family violence, modification, legitimation, and other family law cases. During her time practicing family law, she repeatedly observed the negative affects contested litigation had on her clients.
